About Swimming With Pigs Nassau

Why this site exists

Search for this trip and you get a wall of near-identical listings, all showing the same photograph of a pig in turquoise water. That photograph was taken on Big Major Cay in the Exumas, 80 miles from Nassau, and none of the half-day boats go there.

So the useful comparison is not the picture. It is which island each boat visits, how long you actually get on the sand, whether the landing fee sits inside the ticket or gets collected in cash on the beach, and which of the four boarding points in Nassau you need to reach. Those details live in the small print of eight different listings. We pull them out and put them side by side.

How we check a tour

Every tour on this site is read line by line on the operator's own booking page, and re-read when prices move. What we record:

• The island the pigs live on, named, rather than the phrase 'Pig Beach'
• Price in US dollars, plus any fee collected separately on the island
• Boarding point, since Señor Frog's, Woodes Rodgers Walk, the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal and Montagu Beach are all in use
• Rating and review count as the platform reports them, including the low ones
• Exclusions operators list: pregnancy, minimum ages, back and heart conditions
• Cancellation terms, which run to 24 hours before departure across all eight

What we leave out

Tours rated below 4.0, or rated on a handful of reviews, do not go on the page. One Nassau express boat sits at 3.7 from four reviews and we left it off for that reason, not because of anything the operator did wrong.

We also do not run affiliate links for the Exuma air excursions, so nothing on this site pushes you toward the more expensive day out. If Big Major Cay is what you want, that page tells you plainly and sends you nowhere.

The site is free to read. When you book through a link here, the booking platform may pay us a commission. Your price does not change, and the commission does not decide which tour goes first: the ordering follows rating, review volume and what each boat includes.

Bookings, payments, changes and refunds are handled by the operator or the platform on their own site. We hold none of that and cannot act on your reservation.
